Grindelwald
Grindelwald is one of the largest resorts in the Bernese Oberland and lies at the foot of the north face of the famous Eiger. Although it is the only resort in the Jungfrau Region accessible by car, its position at the very end of the Lutschine valley means that very little traffic passes through the valley itself. It is a wonderful base for a winter holiday, giving access to all the interlinked ski areas in the entire Jungfrau Region, including Interlaken with its shops and restaurants. Grindelwald itself offers local, traditional and international cuisine.
