Gstaad
Gstaad Saanenland is located in the Bernese Oberland, on the border between German and French speaking parts of Switzerland.
The region is made up of nine villages with Gstaad at its centre and attracts visitors all year round with its superb Alpine setting and a wealth of leisure activities. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, the resort still enjoys a spacious and sunny setting at 1050m altitude. The main street is lined with cafes, hotels, galleries and smart shops. For non-skiers there are numerous facilities including fitness and sports centres, walking paths, curling, skating and tobogganing.
